Agenda Group acted as the lead agency in the activation of Vestas’ Volvo Ocean Race sponsorship. This included concept development, scoping of the project, price negotiations and the creation of a stakeholder roadmap. We also designed the boat, pavilion and overall branding of the sponsorship. This also meant developing marketing, activation and displays in all 11 ports worldwide.
The purpose was to communicate Vestas global leading role within sustainable energy and to create relevance to the various stakeholder groups, including customers, the public, the press and others. Furthermore, a direct dialogue was developed and maintained with Vestas key stakeholders at the ports of each of the key markets, ensuring a direct effect on local relationships with customers, governments, the press, etc.

Meetings with an overwhelming 90% of all forecasted global customers, substantial relationship building and a record in purchase intention and direct negotiations. The total public relations value gained was worth over DKK 25,000,000 globally. And an impressive 20,000 social media uploads were submitted through the pavilion activations.
